A supper from the southern coasts
Intimate · Heartily Homemade · 8 seats
The kitchens that raised us
Our story
Every table is a small homecoming.
Born in Bangalore, my kitchen weaves together the four coastal regions that raised me: Mangalore, Kasargod, Palakkad, and Chennai. My culinary foundation was built on childhood memories of stealing tastes from my mother's and grandmother's kitchens — a foundation later expanded by global travel and competing on MasterChef Australia 2021.
That journey taught me that true flavour balance doesn't need pretension. Now in Sydney, The Coconut Tide pairs this fearless coastal Indian heritage with the city's exceptional local produce.
What awaits you · Every gathering is a surprise until the day
Step away from the rush of the world and into a secret sensory gathering. We intentionally limit our table to just eight seats to cultivate honest conversations and deeply personal hospitality.
The mystery
"Each dish remains a total mystery until it hits your plate. Come ready to be surprised."
The flavour
"Traditional roots. Contemporary instinct. Sydney's finest produce. Every bite tells you where it's from."
The table
"Eat slowly. Ask questions. The kind of evening you think about on the drive home."
